Our neighborhood
This is the beginning of a documentation project I am waging that is meant to focus my energy locally. Since we are without a car and the public transportation system here is still a little daunting for me, my sights are limited to a very small radius. We visit two parks on a regular basis that have decent slides and swings and more importantly a small population of little munchins who are willing to be followed by Sebastian, gleefully smiling and occasionally shouting to me, "I am playing with kids!" as if his usual playmates consist of the growing band of rats that live in the backyard (and randomly embark on expeditions to our poorly walled kitchen). One of these parks served as the location for today's photos.

growing pains

I am setting up this blog to serve as a touchstone for all of our lovely family and friends that we seemingly ignore on a regular basis. We are settling into our new home in Jacksonville finally. Take care and I will post some new pictures as soon as I find the camera.
